At Nineteen Years Of Age He Accompanied The Wolseley Expedition To Red River Where He Remained To Establish A Tobacco Shop. In 1878 He Entered The Banking Business And Was Joined By H.T. Champion The Following Year. The Winnipeg Foundation Was Established By An Act Of The Manitoba Legislature In The Spring Of 1921. In June Of That Year, Alloway Presented The First Gift: $100,000. He Died On February 2, 1930, And Was Buried At St. John'S Cemetary In Winnipeg  BanksPersonalities
